I completed my first run today, on normal. Ran into Killroy, Buffy, Metal Mantis, and of course the Mana Beast. It is quite a lot of fun indeed, I'm looking forward to doing many more runs! Things to ment ion: Killroy spawned on the forest arena...stuck in a tree! Lol. He could not move at all, it was the lefter tree right in the middle. Also every spell I cast on a boss resulted in 1 damage. Never any more, which I thought was strange. Those are the 2 main things, other things like tile property issues I won't go into as I'm sure you know all about those.
Alright I think I've managed to fix this. It was an edge case .. I was checking the tree position within 3 x/y of the boss and player position, but 3 wasn't quite enough, so it's 6 now. Should be plenty.
Can't confirm only 1 Damage on bosses. I played on Hard, 16 floors and leveled up magic every now and then. I could hit bosses like Fire Gigas and Frost Gigas pretty hard with their typical weakness.
This is fantastic with the bosses. It really adds a great new dimension and replay value! Thanks for the hard work!

Oh, forgot to say also... I think the Sinking Fortress song might be a better choice over the sad town theme. But that's just preference. :)
DeleteWhat was the seed where Kilroy was in a tree? That shouldn't be happening
DeletePretty sure it was C7925427134C75E4, that's according to the generated log document.
DeleteAny unusual settings? All 3 floor types? Casual difficulty? 16 floors?
DeleteCasual difficulty, 16 Floor, all 3 types enabled. other 3 flags checked as was default.
DeleteHere's a pic I managed to take of it:
